Perma-Crete Alkali Resistant Primer is formulated for interior and exterior, above ground, wood, plaster, wallboard, and masonry surfaces. This primer provides excellent sealing and stain blocking performance — blocks out water, smoke, ink, markers and tannins. It is designed to seal and protect the topcoat from hot alkali found in plaster, masonry and cement and can be applied down to 35°F and to fresh concrete at 7 days and a pH less than 13. It also resists efflorescence, and minimizes white crusty salt deposits, moisture damage, and peeling and cracking. This primer is VOC compliant in regulated areas and MPI approved in category 3.
